    We are a school of great pride and a tradition that seeks to have all of its students reach their full potential. With approximately 1700 students spanning grades 7-12, we offer a wide array of courses in both the middle and high school years.
    Our course offerings, extracurricular activities, athletics and a host of services and programs, are outlined throughout our website. Please peruse our website and get to know us. Additionally, pertinent, up-to-date information relating to upcoming events and programs is available for your convenience.

    EOC Box
    The EOC needs your help!  Please make donations of new school supplies for the children of our local EOC.  Such supplies include: markers, crayons, pencils, pens, construction paper, printed paper, rulers, erasers, glue, or any other school-related supplies.  The donation box is located in Dr. Schlanger's office.  Your donations are greatly appreciated!  Please remember the EOC the next time you go shopping!

    November 17, 2017

     

    • Teens Respect Teens will be hosting a fundraiser for children's travel toys and other items from November 6th - 17th for the Safe Center of Long Island.  A list of examples of goods that are needed will be by all main entrances along with the collection boxes.  Please help these children in need.
    • Please stop by the Math Lab on November 17th & 20th to vote for your favorite teacher to wear a turkey costume next Wednesday, November 22nd!  Vote by donating $1, $5 or $10 dollars....donations go to Island Harvest and The Inn.  Sponsored by the National Honor Society.
    • The next meeting of The 1680 Club will be Tuesday, November 21st at 7:30am in Room 261.  ll old and new members are always welcome.
    • The first Poetry Coffee House of the year will be on Tuesday night, November 21st at 7:30pm in the Black Box Theater.  Sign up sheets are available in the Writing Center and must be submitted by 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 21st.  Admission will be $2.00 at the door.
    • Attention Seniors:  If you completed your required 15 hours of community service over the summer, all paperwork must be submitted to Mrs. Steindam by the end of September.
    • Community Service: It's time to start thinking about community service.  Please see the bulletin board outside the social studies office for volunteer opportunities and other important information.  Also, visit Mrs. Steindam in the social studies office if you have any questions.

  • Congratulations to Lauren Chen for once again becoming an All County golfer.  She will now go on to represent Manhasset and Section 8 in the state tournament at Bethpage.
