                                                   ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

    Your dialogue must be six lines long per student.  Hello and goodbye do not count as lines but should be included. 

     

    A line consists of three or more words (subject – verb – object). 

     

    In addition to satisfying the task given to you, your dialogue must also include :

             >  at least THREE interview expressions 
                      >  at least FOUR uses of the conditional (2 per student)

     

    Be creative! You will present these dialogues in class tomorrow and they will be graded.

    Speaking Tasks Capitolo 14- Lavoro

     

    1. You are an employer for Azienda Multinazionale and you are looking for a bilingual secretary to help organize various tasks and paperwork throughout the office.  Conduct a phone interview with a potential candidate.

     

    1. You are in your senior year of college and are interested in becoming an engineer when you graduate.  Interview a professor to find out more about the field of work, the salary, work hours, experience needed, etc. 

     

    1. You have just graduated med-school and are applying for a job at a hospital in Bologna, Italy. You have been offered a phone interview.  Discuss the position with your potential employer. Be sure to make a good impression.

     

    1. You are the CEO of a major accounting company in the city.  A high school senior has asked to interview you regarding your job duties in order to explore whether or not he/she would be interested in pursuing that position in the future. 

     

    1. You and your friend are in your last year of high school and are discussing your ideal professions.  Comment on ideal salary, work hours, benefits, location, job responsibilities, etc. Discuss any qualifications which would be necessary in order to obtain this job.
