Voter Registration Information

 You are a registered voter, eligible to vote on May 20, 2025 if:
• You have previously registered and voted in a School District and/or a Public Library vote within the last four calendar years, or
• You have registered to vote with the County Board of Elections and have voted at least once in any local, state or national election within the last four calendar years, or
• You have registered with the District’s Board of Registration prior to the vote. 
If you are not registered to vote:
• You may register to be eligible to vote for all elections by mail by downloading and completing a New York State Voter Registration Form from the Nassau County Board of Elections website by clicking here.  Your completed registration must be received by the Nassau County Board of Elections on or before May 9th or on-line by May 10th in order to be eligible to vote on May 20th.

or

• You may register to be eligible to vote for the School Budget Vote/Election and Manhasset Library Budget Vote/Election by registering in person no later than May 15th, at the Office of the District Clerk, Administrative Building, Manhasset Secondary School - 200 Memorial Place on school days (school is closed April 14 - April 21), from 8 am to 4 pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY due to the District’s visitor policy.  Call 516-267-7724 or email districtclerk@manhassetschools.org to make an appointment.

Absentee Ballot Applications

Qualified registered voters can obtain applications for absentee ballots from the District Clerk, Manhasset Public Schools - Administration Building - 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, NY 11030, 516-267-7724. Completed applications are due at least 7 days before the vote, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or the voter's designated agent.  Absentee ballot applications are also available CLICK HERE FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATION.  Absentee ballots must be received in the District Clerk's office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the election to be canvassed.

***PLEASE NOTE:  Pursuant to school election law, applications for absentee ballots cannot be submitted to the District Clerk before April 21, 2025.

***Completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

  

Early Mail Voter Ballot Applications

Registered voters can obtain applications for early mail voter ballots from the District Clerk, Manhasset Public Schools - Administration Building - 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, NY 11030, 516-267-7724. Información sobre la inscripción de los votantes

 Usted es votante inscrito y reúne las condiciones para votar el 20 de mayo de 2025 en los siguientes casos:
• Ya se inscribió y votó previamente en alguna votación del distrito escolar o de la biblioteca pública en el período de los últimos cuatro años corridos, o

Si no está inscrito para votar:
• Puede inscribirse para poder hacerlo en todas las elecciones por correo postal mediante el formulario de inscripción del votante del estado de Nueva York desde el sitio web de la Junta de Elecciones del condado de Nassau, que puede descargar haciendo clic aquí.  La Junta Electoral del Condado de Nassau debe recibir su registro completo antes del 9 de mayo o en línea antes del 10 de mayo para poder votar el 20 de mayo.

• Puede inscribirse para poder votar en la elección y votación del presupuesto de la escuela y la Biblioteca de Manhasset únicamente inscribiéndose de forma presencial en la oficina de la secretaria del distrito hasta el 15 de mayo, oficina del distrito, Manhasset Secondary School, con domicilio en 200 Memorial Place durante los días hábiles (las escuelas permanecerán cerradas desde el 14 de abril hasta el 21 de abril), de 8 a. m. a 4 p. m. Formularios para votar a distancia

Los votantes inscritos y calificados pueden obtener formularios para votar a distancia en la secretaria del distrito, escuelas públicas de Manhasset, edificio administrativo, con domicilio en 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, NY 11030, teléfono 516-267-7724, al menos 7 días con anterioridad a la votación si el voto debe enviarse al votante por correo postal, o el día anterior a la elección si el voto debe entregarse de forma personal al votante. Los formularios para votar a distancia también se encuentran disponibles HAGA CLIC AQUÍ PARA OBTENER UNA SOLICITUD DE VOTO EN AUSENCIA.   Las boletas de voto ausencia deben recibirse en la oficina del Secretario del Distrito a más tardar a las 5:00 p.m. del día de la eleccion que se va a escrutar. 

 

***POR FAVOR TOME EN CUENTA:  De acuerdo a la ley de elecciones de escuelas, los formularios para votar a distancia no pueden entregarse a la secretaria del distrito antes del 21 de abril de 2025.

***La secretaria del distrito debe recibir los boletas de voto en ausencia completos a más tardar el lunes 20 de mayo de 2025 a las 5:00 p.m.

 

Solicitudes  de Boleta de Votante por Correo Anticipado

Los votantes registrados pueden obtener solicitudes para boletas de voto anticipado por correo en el Secretario del Distrito, Escuelas Públicas de Manhasset - Edificio de Administración - 200 Memorial Place, Manhasset, NY 11030, 516-267-7724. Las solicitudes completadas deben presentarse  al menos 7 días antes de la votación si la boleta se va a enviar por correo al votante, o el día antes de la elección, si la boleta se va a entregar personalmente al votante o al agente designado por el votante. Las solicitudes de boleta electoral anticipada por correo también están disponibles en HAGA CLIC  HAGA CLIC AQUÍ PARA OBTENER UNA SOLICITUD DE BOLETA PARA VOTANTE POR CORREO ANTICIPADO.  Las boletas de voto ausencia deben recibirse en la oficina del Secretario del Distrito a más tardar a las 5:00 p.m. del día de la eleccion que se va a escrutar.
