Insurance Option
Now that our 1:1 device program sends many Chromebooks out of buildings on a regular basis, it is likely that there may be greater damage to these devices than when they were housed within classrooms and did not go home.  All parents signed a Student/Parent laptop agreement (Policy 8330-E1) agreeing to take responsibility for the cost of repair or replacement if the device is damaged, lost, or stolen. 

Sample costs: 
Broken Speakers: Approx upto $50 
Broken Camera/Mic: Approx upto $50 
Damaged LCD with Touch: Approx upto $130
Lost Chromebook: $160- $360 (depending on the year)
