Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Chromebook?

What to do if your Chromebook is damaged, lost, or stolen.

If your Chromebook is damaged

  1. Email MPSITHelp@ManhassetSchools.org with the subject line: Damaged Chromebook – [Student Last Name].
  2. An IT Technician will reply with instructions on where to bring the Chromebook for repair.
  3. If the repair takes more than an hour, a loaner Chromebook will be provided.

If the damage warrants replacement, costs may be charged to the family. Replacement is approximately $380. Consider the district’s insurance option.

If your Chromebook is lost

Email MPSITHelp@ManhassetSchools.org with the subject line: Lost Chromebook – [Student Last Name]. Include your name, school, and the asset tag if available.

If your Chromebook is stolen

Email MPSITHelp@ManhassetSchools.org with the subject line: Stolen Chromebook – [Student Last Name]. Include any details you have and the asset tag if available.
