Damaged, Lost or Stolen Chromebook?
What to do if your Chromebook is damaged, lost or stolen.
In the event that your Chromebook is damaged, you should send an email to MPSITHelp@ManhassetSchools.org
Please write "Damaged Chromebook" in the subject line and the last name of the student. An IT Technician will get back to you with instructions on where to bring the Chromebook for repair.
Should the repair require more than an hour to complete, you will be provided with a loaner Chromebook.
If the damage warrants, it is possible that the Chromebook will need to be replaced. The cost of repair or replacement may be charged to the family. The cost of replacement is approximately $360. For that reason, the District is making an insurance option available. Click here to learn more.
