Technology Resources for Students
WiFi Access
Wireless Access to the Manhasset Network (and Internet) is available throughout the Secondary School. Look for "MWN" on your device list of available wifi. Access is also available in each grade level corridor, computer lab and library of the Munsey Park and Shelter Rock elementary schools. No password is necessary.
The following public points of internet access are available in the Manhasset Community:
Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 1542 Northern Boulevard (open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM Mon – Sat and 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Sun).
- Dunkin Donuts, 370 Plandome Road. Open 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
- Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Ave. Open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
- Manhasset/Great Economic Opportunity Council. Open Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Starbucks, 375 Plandome Road. Open 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM daily).
Technology Services
Signing in to School Resources using Classlink
Classlink is the single sign on solution that allows you one click access to many online school resources. These include various software platforms. Be sure to use your @mufsd.org account to access classlink.
Canvas Learning Management System
Beginning in the 2020-21 school year, the Canvas LMS will be used by all Manhasset teachers to electronically distribute and collect assignments to and from students.
