Superintendent of Schools
Hello Manhasset School Community,
It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I write to introduce myself as the Interim Superintendent of the Manhasset Union Free School District. I am honored to join a school community known for its tradition of excellence, dedicated staff, engaged families, and outstanding students.
For over 34 years, I have had the privilege of serving in a wide range of roles within public education—as a teacher, coach, dean, principal, assistant superintendent, and most recently, as superintendent of the Sachem Central School District. Each role has shaped my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to continuous improvement are the cornerstones of a thriving school system.
Throughout my career, my focus has always remained on ensuring that every student is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. My mantra is, “Every Child, Every Day.” I’m sure you will hear me say it often. I look forward to working collaboratively with the Board of Education, staff, families, and the entire Manhasset school community to support our students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
In the weeks ahead, I plan to visit schools, meet with stakeholders, and listen closely to the voices that make Manhasset such a special place. I am truly excited about this opportunity and deeply committed to providing steady, student-centered leadership throughout the 2025/26 school year.
Lastly, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Passi for his great support and guidance during our transition.
