Coach Palma is in her tenth year teaching physical education in the Manhasset School District.  She started teaching in a split position dividing her day between the High School and Munsey Park, but now she is full-time at Shelter Rock Elementary School. 

She coaches the 8th grade girls lacrosse team and has coached middle school field hockey, middle school girls’ soccer, JV & Varsity girls' basketball.  She runs the morning sports program for grades 4-6 at Shelter Rock.  Coach Palma is also one of the coordinators for Student Council at Shelter Rock. 

Coach Palma received a dual Bachelor's degree at C.W. Post Long Island University in health and physical education.  She has received her masters through Cortland University in physical education with a concentration in coaching.
