    What is Key Club?:
Manhasset Key Club is a student-led, high school organization. Key Club is an international organization sponsored by Kiwanis and typically has over 150 members each year. The club was built on the concept of caring, thus the purpose is community service. Members are asked to perform a required number of service hours by participating in pancake breakfast, donation collections, conducting food drives, and many other fundraisers. Key Club is the club for those who are interested in making a difference. Our members make the world a better place through service. In doing so, they grow as individuals and as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage and developing the heart to serve.

Who can be apart of Key Club?:

Open to students in grades: 9-12

Third Wednesday of the Month at 7:35 AM in the HS Gym or 3:15 PM in room 104. Members can attend either meeting, they only need to attend one for the day. (it is the third Wednesday of the month, unless there is a holiday and the date needs to be changed)

Are there requirements to stay a member in Key Club?:

Yes, the requirements are that you must attend a minium of 6 out of the 9 meetings. You cannot miss more than 3 meetings. You are also required to complete a mandatory 5 hours of community service. This community service must be a Key Club event run by the club or recognized as an event by the club advisors.

Is there a way Key Club members get information on community service events?

Yes all members can find information provided on the Key Club Google classroom. You may access the classroom after getting a code provided by the club advisors. It is mandatory you are in Google classroom in order to be apart of the club.

Is there a form to get signed if I complete community service?

Yes, the form is not needed however for Key Club events run by the club at the school. The form is needed for events outside the school or not by Key Club, but it is an event the officers and advisors approve can be attended! This form will be used for all events that are not run by Key Club within the school that students can use for community service hours toward their required amount of 5 community service hours for the year.

This form must be handed in a weeks time from the event they participated in. It must be handed in at the Key Club Drop Box in the Language Lab in room 260. Form is located below.
