Welcome Students and Families,

I am thrilled to be joining the Manhasset School District this year! My name is Meaghan Werther but you can call me Ms. W. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education. Upon graduating from SUNY Geneseo, I completed my master's in Severe and Multiple Disabilties from Columbia University's, Teachers College. For the past five years, I have been a special eduation teacher in Manhattan. I grew up on Long Island and am very excited to be coming back to Long Island to teach at Shelter Rock Elementary School.

As September approaches, I am eager to get to know each and every one of you. Some of my favorite things include reading, cycling, and watching movies.  I hope you have all enjoyed your summer break and look forward to meeting you soon!
