Mrs. Karin Greenberg

Hi! I'm the library media specialist at Manhasset High School. I'm here to help you with all of your information literacy needs. I am a certified English teacher and because of my growing passion for research and learning, I received a Master of Library Science from Queens College, with the goal of reaching an even broader audience of students as a school librarian.

In our modern technological world of overflowing information, it is more important than ever to have the ability to sift through the content on the internet, television, radio, and social media. As you go through four years of high school, your development of critical thinking skills and analytical abilities will prepare you for your next stage, whether it be college or a career.

Although learning how to interact within the world of technology is vital to your growth as students, it is equally important to engage in literature, which will allow you to view your environments from varying perspectives and to make sense of the world around you. We are continually updating our fiction and nonfiction collections with diverse books from every imaginable genre.

I look forward to working with you throughout the school year. Please feel free to visit the library anytime if you need help with writing, research, college essays, homework, or book recommendations. For an extensive list of books, go to kglibrarian on goodreads by following the link below.
