Welcome to Manhasset's High School Literature Club!
What is the mission of the Literature Club?
The mission of the Literature Club is to encourage students to engage in insightful discussions about social issues through literature. Students will expand their social horizions and gain a greater understanding of others, as well as improve their critical reading skills, by being exposed to a variety of authors and genres. The Book Club is open to all students in grades 9-12 regardless of reading ability or affinity. We discuss all types of literature, such as prose, poetry, and short stories, and we are always open to suggestions from students on what we will read next!
