Manhasset Medals at NYS Science Olympiad Tournament

On April 5, the Manhasset High School Division B State Team competed at the NYS Science Olympiad Tournament and came home with a total of 11 event medals, including 3 first place finishes!

Overall, within a field of 40 teams, Manhasset ranked #7 and brought home a team trophy. This was the best result in the history of Manhasset’s Olympiad participation!

• Tower: 1st Place - Alexis Wong & Isabelle Wong
• Write It, Do It: 2nd Place - Isabelle Wong & Lillian Xie
• Experimental Design: 3rd Place - Vikram Gauld, Joshua Lin & Declan So
• Air Trajectory: 7th Place - Katelynn Cai & Kelly Zhu
• Mission Possible: 7th Place - Dorie Liu & Ellen Zhao
• Road Scholar: 7th Place - Vikram Gauld & Joshua Lin
• Meteorology: 8th Place – Sophia Fulton & Kelly Zhu
• Microbe Mission: 9th Place - Katelynn Cai & Vivienne Naismith
• Wind Power: 10th Place - Alexis Wong & Jacqueline Zheng
