Manhasset Board of Education Honors Hackathon Champions

The Manhasset Board of Education was proud to recognize the exceptional talents of our student coders during the April 16 meeting. Students and coaches from both Munsey Park and Shelter Rock elementary schools were celebrated for their outstanding performance at the recent KidOyo Hackathon (Middle School Division).

Our teams showcased not only their technical proficiency in programming but also their creativity and collaborative spirit, competing against a field of talented peers.

The following honors were brought home to the district:

The district extends a huge congratulations to the students for their hard work and to the coaches for their dedicated mentorship. These achievements highlight Manhasset’s commitment to providing students with the STEM skills necessary to excel in an increasingly digital world.
