Manhasset Educators Lead and Learn During Superintendent’s Conference Day
On October 20, Manhasset’s 2025 Superintendent’s Conference Day brought faculty and staff together for a full day of professional learning, collaboration and innovation. This year’s sessions focused on topics ranging from executive functioning skills to curriculum and assessment updates, with a special emphasis on practical classroom applications and instructional creativity.

The day’s schedule featured 21 engaging workshops, many of which were led by Manhasset’s own talented educators and specialists. Teachers and Teaching Assistants had the opportunity to select three sessions aligned with their professional goals and instructional interests.

Workshop highlights included:

  • Executive Functioning Skills

  • Alternative Assessment Strategies

  • Project-Based Thinking

  • Reconsidering Assessment in the Age of AI

  • Elementary Science Resources

  • Math Enrichment and Modeling

  • Making Sight Words “Stick”

  • Creating Classroom Habits, Routines and Experiences

These sessions offered valuable insights and strategies to strengthen student engagement, deepen learning and support Manhasset’s ongoing commitment to instructional excellence.
