This month’s edition of The 'Set Spotlight celebrates a strong start to the 2025-26 school year across Manhasset Schools! From welcoming back students and introducing new teachers, to unveiling campus upgrades and celebrating student excellence, there’s plenty to be proud of.

🎓 Academic & Artistic Excellence

• Manhasset Secondary School ranked #23 in NYS and #4 on Long Island by U.S. News & World Report
• 12 students named National Merit Semifinalists
• Senior Hang Mi honored as a Long Island Arts Alliance Scholar-Artist
• 14 student musicians selected for the NYSSMA All-State Festival

🏫 District Updates

• Facility upgrades completed across all schools, including new A/C in classrooms and renovated tennis courts
• Manhasset Secondary named a NYSPHSAA School of Distinction
• A warm welcome to 20 new teachers joining our faculty

As interim superintendent Dr. Pellettieri shared, “Together, let’s keep the momentum going as we work toward another successful and fulfilling year for all in Manhasset Schools.”
