Manhasset Middle School Takes Center Stage With ‘Bye Bye Birdie’
The Manhasset Secondary School stage was transformed into a vibrant 1950s landscape on May 1 and 2 as middle school performers delivered a spirited run of the classic musical comedy "Bye Bye Birdie."
As the final production of the school year, the show served as a triumphant grand finale for our performing arts season. From the iconic opening notes of Telephone Hour to the high-energy choreography of A Lot of Livin’ to Do, the cast and crew demonstrated a professional level of commitment that earned standing ovations from the local community.
The production also highlighted the technical excellence of our theater department. Period-accurate costumes and detailed set design provided a polished backdrop for students to explore their creative interests and build confidence.
As the final curtain fell on the 2025-26 theater season, the district celebrated not only a successful run but the incredible growth and achievements of every student involved in the process.
