Cultural Club Shines Light on Diwali

Manhasset Cultural Club members came together to learn from one another about the Diwali festival of lights, celebrated across the world by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists.

Club members then decorated diyas, or small lamps, that symbolize dispelling darkness and the victory of good over evil.
