Seniors Recognized as National Merit Commended Students

Thirteen Manhasset Secondary School seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2024-2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.

To qualify for this honor, students have typically scored in the top 3% of all students nationally on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test taken during their junior year.

With this recognition, recipients are eligible to be selected for special scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses.

Manhasset Public Schools congratulates the following Commended Students: Shuewei Chen, Meghan Colello, Liliana Espinal, Sohum Khatoria, Jocelyn Liu, William McLean, Remi Pai, Sean Randall, Leela Sankar, Brendan So, James Tsekouras, Audrey Wangkanchanamas and Matthew Wu.
