First Graders Learn About Diwali

Shelter Rock first grader Sameer Dogra's mom, Dr. Purva Sharma, came into Ms. Mauro's class and taught the children about Diwali. Also called the "Festival of Lights," Diwali is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year.
