Third Graders Reinforce Self-Confidence with Affirmation Station

Today, Mrs. Weiss-Begley and Mrs. Salmeron’s 3rd grade class explored the power of positive affirmations and their role in building self-esteem. They discussed how our thoughts influence our emotions and actions and the importance of speaking kindly to ourselves. Students brainstormed class affirmations, focusing on strengths, goals and values. By the end of the lesson, everyone had a set of positive statements to use daily, reinforcing self-confidence and a growth mindset.
